Felix was a kind, supportive and stimulating friend to my father, Hyman Frankel, who died in 2010. Being a Marxist intellectual can be a lonely experience and Felix was one of the few people with whom he shared interests.
I'm sorry I can't be at the funeral but want to record my appreciation of Felix's life.
